What a Difference

We've hated our backyard since the day we moved in. We liked the size of it, but the people that owned our house before us had done absolutely nothing to fix it up. They didn't have anything back there besides grass, weeds, rocks, two dead trees, and some steps. We added a patio shortly after we moved in, but still weren't happy with it. The yard sloped so much, it was difficult to keep the grass green. It just wasn't the ideal yard for having an active boy run around and play. We decided enough was enough, and finally bit the bullet. Connor was fascinated watching the excavators work their magic. It took them two days and 13 dump trucks to level it out. I didn't realize how sloped it was until I saw the difference between the new ground level and where it used to be. After we got the landscapers in, it was a complete transformation. Gunner no longer has free reign, so that's a big change for him. On the other hand, Connor can run freely out there now. And as much as he loves the outdoors, you can imagine how happy that makes him.
