Sunday Walk

Before I headed out of town for a few days on a work trip, I wanted to spend some quality time with my boys. So we packed up the wagon, slathered on some sunscreen, and went for a nice, leisurely walk. I would never have guessed it, but apparently the hard plastic seats and bumpy ride is conducive to sleeping. About five minutes into the walk, Connor was out. We ended up stopping at Einstein Brothers so Dada could get a cold drink. I waited outside with the sleeping babe. Next to Einstein happens to be a Dairy Queen. In the midst of his sweet dreams, Connor must have heard someone mention "ice cream." That woke him right up. When Dada came back out, I slipped into DQ and got Connor a chocolate dipped cone.

Once he had downed the cone, we made our way over to the park. We were prepared for the water fountains this time. Connor was suited in his swim trunks and Crocs. But of course the one time we're prepared, he wouldn't go in the water. He preferred to play chase with Dada, but we finally convinced him to at least get his feet wet. He was pretty unwilling at first, but he eventually conceded.
