The Disneylunds
One of the first questions Nate asked Dre on their first date was "Who is your favorite Disney princess?" I think we can all agree that this is not a normal question to ask on a first date - especially coming from a guy. In fact, most people would probably run to a land, far far away. However, Dre said the magic word, "Belle" [sigh] . . . and the rest is history. This is the reason that the couple now has the nickname, "Disneylunds." After what seemed like a whirlwind courtship and engagement, the two were married the day after Thanksgiving in the LDS temple in Bountiful, Utah.
The occasion called for a dressier wardrobe than what Connor is used to, so we had to do some shopping in preparation for the big day. He's a little young to be GQ, but he certainly looked quite dapper.

Connor was just beside himself all morning long. He could see Dre, but because they were having their pictures taken, he couldn't "hold" her. He was kind enough to pose with Nate for a few shots, but apparently it would have been asking too much for him to smile. Don't get me wrong. He behaved like a little gentleman. Especially for getting up as early as he did, and not having a nap. However, he didn't want Mommy. He barely wanted Aunt Tin. He just kept asking for "Day." If she left his line of vision, he asked "Day go?" He finally got his wish at the bridal luncheon. When she walked in the room, he made a beeline straight for her, she picked him up, and he gave her the biggest, longest love he's ever given. Once he had that out of his system, he could go on with the day.
