Zoo Lights

While Nanny was in town last week, Aunt Tin invited us to check out the zoo lights with her. She couldn't have picked a better night to do it, weather wise. Although Connor seemed pleased with the few animals he did see (giraffes and a hippo's eye poking up out of some water), overall it was pretty unspectacular to us adults. Since it was dark, you couldn't see most of the animals. Plus, most of them were sleeping. But we didn't go for us. Connor had never seen a giraffe as close up as he did since they're usually outside. The other bonus of the night was Connor actually cracked a smile while riding the carousel. Unfortunately, it wasn't caught on camera so there's no proof.
