Utah, Gimme 2
Let me start by saying I've been trying to add this post to the blog for well over a month now, but for whatever reason the pictures wouldn't download. Not my fault though! It's been very frustrating, but I finally made it happen. With that said, the true date for this post should be May 22.

Although it was such a quick trip, Connor and I enjoyed ourselves immensely while visiting Utah. Grandma was feeling a bit better this time 'round, so that was a big improvement over last time. On Friday, Grandma and Grandpa went to "work" at the Church Office Building while Connor and I slept in. Boy did we need it! Whenever he's taken out of his normal routine, Connor's sleeping patterns seem to get off kilter. He woke up during the night and ending up sleeping (a/k/a tossing and turning) in my bed. After eating breakfast and getting dressed, Connor and I headed south to pick up Jules and Kenner. We ran a few errands, then headed back to the parents' abode and walked over to the COB in time to meet them for lunch. After eating the fine cuisine in the cafeteria, Grandma and Grandpa gave us a tour of their office. The boys soon let it be known that it was time for their afternoon naps, so we started walking back to the apartment. We stopped at the gardens across from Temple Square so Connor could frolic in the flowers.

We didn't do much the rest of the day. It was nice just to sit back and relax. The next day we ventured up through the canyon to Park City. We were even able to talk Grandma into coming along for the ride since she was feeling relatively well. It was a beautiful drive, so she was glad she joined us. Plus, she got to spend some quality time with Jules and I, and her two adorable grandsons. I was determined to check out the Old Navy Outlet. At first I wasn't impressed when looking through the toddler and men's clothes, but when I moved to the other side of the store to the women's section, it was as if the heavens opened up. Too bad for Connor and Daddy, but hooray for me! After stopping in at the Mrs. Field's shop for a treat, we headed back down the mountain in time for the boys to take naps, yet again. For dinner, we went to the top of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and ate at The Garden. The windows in the restaurant give a panoramic view of the Salt Lake valley. But who could look at the view when the two boys were putting on such a great show for us? Some of the biggest laughs were due to the shenanigans of the two babe cousins. They were both entranced with the floral centerpiece, so it had to be moved out of their reach. Then Connor took it upon himself to feed Kenner. That was followed up by them taking turns bullying each other, first with a abib incident and then some hair pulling . If they're doing this now, what will it be like when they're older? Eeek!

as long as they also have their binkies.
