I Can't Put My Arms Down!

The temperature finally dropped to the point where we had to drag out Connor's winter gear and break it in. First the mittens and knit cap, then the coat. Once he was all zipped up, a scene from A Christmas Story came to mind: Ralphie's little brother yelling, "I can't put my arms down!" He was a good sport about it though. Even though he was temporarily immobilized, he was still able to give one of his big, infamous toothless grins. At least with the mittens on, he couldn't de-sock himself (his new favorite thing to do in his carseat). And why did we have to get him all bundled up? Why, to see Santa Claus of course! Santa and his live reindeer were at a nearby nursery, so we had to go check him out. The reindeer were nowhere to be seen. But that didn't matter. Once Connor was on Santa's lap, he looked like a deer . . . in headlights. We still have plans to visit the real Santa. This one with the fake beard just won't do!
