Hallelujah!
December 7th isn't just Pearl Harbor Day anymore. Nope. After months of drool, chewing on everything in sight, occasional sleeplessness, inevitable crankiness, and a strong dislike of Orajel, Connor's first tooth finally popped through. It wasn't alone for too long. It's neighboring partner in crime popped through on December 12th. Trying to take a picture of the pearly whites has proven to be quite the challenge though. If I try go anywhere near his mouth, he thinks I'm coming at him with Orajel, clenches his mouth shut, and turns his head from side to side so I can't get near him. Therefore, closeups are a no-go. Crazy kid. So we had to try a different approach. He loves his bath, and loves to splish splash. They may hard to see, but trust me, they're there. Cute, little white nubbins. While he was teething, he was constantly biting on things (stuffed animals, his hand, Mommy's shoulder). It wasn't so bad since he was all gums. He still chews on everything that he get in his mouth, but NOW with his new little humdingers, it's a bit more painful. But he doesn't seem to mind it as much as Mommy does. (Keep in mind he had just his bath, so his feet and toes are clean . . . for the time being.)
